Just for me: Understanding School Choice
Knowledge Gained:  Participants will understand that there exists a vast array of options available to those who want to pursue post-secondary education. 
Skills & Abilities Learned: Participants will be able to identify college types and compare college offerings as it relates to accreditation, student support programs, learning environment, and employment placement. Participants will be able to objectively analyze what they value in an education, what to look for in a college to address their values, and how their overall career goals impact college choice.

Let the Journey Begin
Knowledge Gained:  Participants will understand the college application and financial aid application process from start to finish to include when and how to apply, the parts of the application, the placement testing process, and the differences between grants, scholarships, and loans.
Skills & Abilities Learned:  Participants will learn how to complete a college application and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Participants will be able to evaluate and compare colleges based upon cost of attendance and the availability of funds to pay for courses.

Student Rights & Responsibilities
Knowledge Gained:  Participants will learn of the various resources available to students on college campuses and within the community to provide support and tools for both their academic and personal success.  Participants will also learn their roles and responsibilities as a student as well as the roles and responsibilities of various college personnel. 

Skills & Abilities Learned:  Participants will learn to familiarize themselves with the academic requirements for their program of study, locate general college policies and procedures regarding important college and financial aid deadlines, and advocate for themselves for academic assistance as it relates to tutoring and disability support services.
