Educational Opportunity Center Services



HEC-TRIO Educational Opportunity Centers

The Higher Education Consortium Educational Opportunity Centers (EOC) are federally funded by the U.S. Department of Education to provide access and support in the areas of financial aid, financial literacy, and college selection for individuals desiring to pursue post-secondary education.  All of our services are FREE.  We provide services to the following counties:  St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles, Jefferson, Franklin, Madison, St. Clair, Clinton, and Monroe. 

Participant Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible to receive services from the EOC, participants must meet the following criteria:
  • Be 19 years of age or older or be 18 years of age but not be a  recipient of services from an Educational Talent Search Program, and
  • Be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or eligible non-citizen (refugee, granted asylum, etc.)
